Lily Thompson has come back to the UK with five gold medals, after competing in Australia.
The Year 11 student competed in the International Sport Karate Association World Championships for Kick Boxing in Brisbane in October.
Lily is no stranger to success – in the same Championships held in Germany and Austria two years ago, she won one gold medal. Her hard work and determination over the past two years have seen her increase her impressive collection of medals.
The Y11 student at Astrea Academy Netherwood, will also be sitting her GCSEs next summer.
